Long Weekend

Tomorrow this time I'll be in London. So excited! It's probably our first romantic trip together after Bali four years ago.

We don't know if we want to do the whole tourist visit, this is so not D's style (am not sure what style I have) but we'll make sure to visit the famous hyde park and either Museum of London or British Museum

I wonder if croissant and baguette exist in London but I don't really care, what I miss is eating a good bagel. According to this book, this is the cheapest best taste bagel to go for.

Am off reading the rest of the book, and leave you with this video of Mr Bean for London Olympics 2012

Friday Night Outfit: I'd Go Anywhere With You

I can't stop thinking about London these past days.  The thought prone to whether I am going or not.  Planned it since last February, the night of my birthday D came home with a birthday cake and a card.  Inside it was written, "I offered you one romantic weekend in London".  Fast forward, we booked the airbnb, bought the train ticket, but only a month before that I realized that I need to have a visa for that. Duh.  But don't worry, the incessant anxious is finally behind me because last Tuesday the visa is approved.  What's rest is the planning.  And getting ready to be in love again.

Umh. So now you know the reason of the title of this friday night outfit.. emh.. awkward..

Weird Dream

I caught cold two weeks ago, had been warm for the whole week, for a moment I thought that I'm pregnant, but it turned out that I'm really sick. Thus the bad mood and sad thought.  Here I am, after an intense of dry cough and miles of nasal mucus for three days and nights, proud to say that I am fine now and so excited to reclaim my life back.

Last night I had funny dreams:
Brushing teeth with dessert de trois couleurs or this.

Two twins being pregnant with twins.

Climbing down big stairs made out of metal painted in blue, it's so big that there are little ladders to help reaching between the steps.

Being really close to a river jammed packed by a weird creature: a mariage betwen the gili island sea turtle and crocodile.  At beginning I was surprised, scared, but then the view was so beautiful the weather was great.  The sun shining through the soft hazy afternoon sky, I saw a mountain from afar.  Then I glance back at the creatures, they're not dangerous at all actually.  Then I realize that this villa is ours, so I told D that I'm not coming back to the city with him. I remember him saying something like, it's not normal because everybody lives in the city and nobody lives here.

Another Monday

I'm not afraid
Of anything in this world
There's nothing you can throw at me
That I haven't already heard

Remember this song from U2? I am listening to this right now at grooveshark.  It has been like the second monday I've got a headache. I hope this thing isn't regular.  Because of an uninvited guests, sometimes I just wish it doesn't pay visit and we'd be expecting a bigger more special surprise that'll arrive a lot later instead. But not this month. Sigh.

My Friday Night Outfit

Not sure how it started but every friday morning I have this habit to yell "It's Friday!!" once I got up.  The first reason at the beginning was to make my husband smile as he woke up, I think, but now that I think further it's probably just to remind myself that the weekend starts in 6 hours.

Here goes what I am wearing as I type. No, just kidding. But the long hours of search for the decent style really making myself worth to be in this look. Mentally, at least.

VoilĂ  the choice for a warm Friday night at the beginning of June:
Interchangeable gold hoop earrings from my store,
Cognac brown vegetable leather from Rib and Hull,
1920s flapper, vintage brown leather mary jane strap from Vera Vague, and
My favorite material, white linen dress with baby collar detail and matching brown belt from Good Morning Midnight

Have a good Weekend!
